  • Q. How old is the school?
    • A. Our school was established in 1999.
  • Q. What grades do you offer?
    • A. We offer kindergarten through 12th grade. Passing seniors are awarded a high school diploma.
  • Q. Do you have a preschool?
    • A. No. We have in the past taken kindergarteners in at four years old but we discourage the practice.
  • Q. How many students are in the school?
    • A. We average anywhere from 25 to 35 campus day students. We have enrolled a varying number of homeschool children; at times more than one hundred and at other times less. Our adult diploma students start and finish more quickly with anywhere from 2 to 3 to half a dozen or so at a time.
  • Q. What is the average class size?
    • A. Campus day classes sizes range upon enrollment from between half a dozen students to fifteen or so per class.
  • Q. What is the student/teacher ratio?
    • A. The student/teacher ratio is approximately fifteen to one in the larger classes and six to one in the smaller classes.
  • Q. What is the tuition?
    • A. Campus day students and home school students pay $100 per month for 9 academic months in a school year. The discounted fee is $150 for a sibling group of two. Achievement testing is offered at $25 per annual test. The Adult Diploma Completion program is $300 to $325 complete.
  • Q. Do you have financial aid?
    • A. No; not at this time.
  • Q. Does FMA have busing?
    • A. No; it is not feasible at our rate of tuition.
  • Q. What interscholastic sports do you offer?
    • A. We have no competitive team sports.
  • Q. Do students wear uniforms?
    • A. Not at present but we have a dress code.
  • Q. Is the school accredited?
    • A. Yes, we are fully accredited by the World-Wide Accreditation Commission Of Christian Educational Institutions (WWAC), Dr. Paul Richardson Executive President, 2800 Blendwell Rd., Richmond, VA 23224.
  • Q. What percentage of graduates goes on to higher learning?
    • A. We have not calculated a precise percentage but many do.
  • Q. What is the deadline for admissions?
    • A. We accept enrollment throughout the year.
  • Q. What is the kindergarten cutoff date?
    • A. We accept enrollment throughout the year.
  • Q. Do you have a cafeteria?
    • A. We sell low cost snacks and foods and have lunchroom areas.
  • Q. Do you have Before and After School Care?
    • A. We do not offer these services. Students should arrive just before 8 a.m. and should be picked up at 2 p.m.
